Many ancient statues of Buddha are truly gigantic. It is believed that Buddha is honored by statues such as these. But no matter how large, they cannot save anyone from the coming judgment of God. In the Qur'an (7: 191-192), God addresses pagan communities in these words:

"Do they make things into partner-gods which cannot create anything and are themselves created; which are not capable of helping them and cannot even help themselves?"
